Who's the girl?

    Hiya! I'm Amber. I was blessed beyond words to be raised in a very loving,Christian home & love my family more than I could ever express on here! I've been married to my best friend for a little over 5 years!

I know it sounds cliche but I've never met someone who challenges me,makes me laugh (we laugh A LOT;),encourages me & loves me selflessly like that man does!! We have two crazy kids. A lab/weimaraner mix named "Koa" and a crazy wiener dog named "Sophie Jane."  They drive us nuts but making us smile for sure but God willing we're hoping to add a human child to our little family one day soon.:)

      
    Creativity is one of my favorite things.Which is partly why I love writing so much.

 You can almost always find me doing some kind of DIY project.

   I just love creating & have since before I even knew what the word meant! That's probably why I absolutely love Photography.Yup, I'm a photographer and I love every aspect of it!

   I enjoy meeting creative people too, funky people who aren't afraid to be unique, to stand out in a world where most are trying to fit in.

   I also love love love drawing/painting.When I was growing up I would doodle on any & everything that was in front of me.My parents saved some of those church envelope Amber Originals & while I enjoy looking at them I like to think I've improved a little since those stick figure days. Just give me a pencil & pad or a paintbrush & blank canvas & I'm in my happy place.


    I love everything Vintage.Clothes,jewelry,furniture,art,cars,music, movies,style.EVERY thing from pretty much the 20's to the 50's I am IN LOVE with.

     I've been called an old soul w/a free spirit. I'll take it!:) My spontaneity can get me in trouble sometimes because I don't usually have a plan for anything & just go with the flow where my husband is the complete opposite! It's a perfect balance though. I love how he doesn't try to change me but encourages me & simply helps me to find a balance.....well attempts to;)

But the most important thing about my life, that defines all else, is that I'm a Christian. It is because of my relationship with Christ that I can embrace who I am and the gifts God's blessed me with and my hope is that anyone who hears my story will be able to do the same.
